The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA is a water-based serum with alpha arbutin and hyaluronic acid. This treatment fades hyperpigmentation (such as dark spots, acne scars, age spots, and melasma) and promotes a clear, even skin tone.

i got this product to use on my acne scars/ hyper pigmentation, and after a week i can see them getting lighter. i find that it is quickly absorbed into the skin and is not drying. i really like this product and would repurchase. the 4 starts are because i am still using it and yet to see if the long term use will get rid of my scars.

I use this product along with The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA and Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%. This combination is recommended (excluding Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA) and I have seen fantastic results. It slowly fades pimple marks and ages spots. I love how quickly it sinks into my skin so i don't have to wait to layer other products. I was skeptical about the brand as a whole but I can say honestly that this has been a very good brand for my skin... highly recommended!

I'm in la-loveeeee! The price makes you say hello and I love how it doesn't irritate my skin. This is a dropper packaging, which makes the product sanitary. I notice my skin sheds faster with this product and new skin is revealed. When I'm in the shower, the shedding process is noticeable when I'm lightly rubbing my face. I am of African descent, and I have medium to deep skin, and this serum has does an excellent job of improving general hyperpigmentation on my skintone. I am shocked at how effective it is for the price. It is not as great on acne scars, but I am confident that with time, it will also fade acne scars.
