Solid Retinol Serum
I've had a hard time since moving to Ireland because I had to replace the retinol serum in my routine since I can't get my previous favorite here. It's hard to find a product that's vegan, cruelty-free, not an open tub so the retinol won't just oxidize out, and actually effective. This serum is solid. It's an oil but not oily, and it works about the same as my previous retinol serum did with my skin. It's pricey, but it lasts about 3 or so months, and there's not a ton of products that I can use as a vegan. It's not irritating or harsh.

Excellent starter retinol
I am 54 with really good skin. Nevertheless I have a few age related issues, such as mild redness and larger pores. Wrinkles are treated with botox and fillers so I use this for evening my skintone. Every time I try retinol it's carnage with flaking skin and redness, no matter how low I start (0.3, 0.5 etc), I've done the retinol ladder technique etc and to no avail. I saw Caroline Hiron's review of this and decided to try it. I love oils at night and this is incredible. Some dislike the smell which is akin to curry because of the cumin oil but the smell fades after about 10 minutes. I have been using this alongside vitamin C for daytime protection and SPF 50 and there is a noticeable difference in my skin. It is less red and there is a noticeable reduction in pore size and all with zero side effects so no flaking, no sore or peeling skin. I love it. I use 2-3 pumps and take it onto my neck and decollegage. I just bought a second bottle. My husband uses Pestle and Mortar moisturiser and loves it and I use the HA during the day. Excellent Irish made products. Well worth the price.
