Introduction
Salicylic Acid 2% Solution is a water-based exfoliating serum with salicylic acid. The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution contains 2% salicylic acid, a type of beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that helps exfoliate the skin and unclog pores.
How to Use:
- Cleanse your skin: Before applying the Salicylic Acid Solution, wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat your skin dry.
- Apply the solution: Using your fingertips, apply a few drops of the solution to your entire face or to the specific areas where you have blemishes. Avoid the eye area.
- Let it absorb: Let the solution absorb into your skin for a few minutes. Do not rinse it off.
- Follow with other products: You can apply other skincare products like moisturizer or sunscreen on top of the Salicylic Acid Solution.
- Start slow: If you are new to using Salicylic Acid or have sensitive skin, start by using the solution once a week and gradually increase to twice a week or more as tolerated.
- Use sunscreen: Salicylic Acid can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so it's important to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher during the day.

Not as good as I had hoped from reading other reviews but definitely helps

Fab
This is great on pores, I put it on every other night under my serums and oils and I wake up with a fresh pore less face. Love it. Don't use it on the same night as your retinols though as it can be harsh.

Blackheads have always been a struggle for my skin. I had heard about salicylic acid from all aspects but in particular it’s effectiveness on blackheads. I have only been using it for a short time but I feel like my nose looks slightly better

Gentle but very effective
Very effective product. No reactions, a little dry initially, but skin climatised quickly. Doesn't work overnight, every day blackheads look less and pores look a little smaller., and I'm only using it almost three weeks. I'm looking forward to further improvements with time. I apply on problem areas morning and night. Works fine under sunscreen and makeup, no pilling. Very satisfied with this no nonsense product.

Big improvement in my skin. I don't just put it on the break outs - currently combating recurring breakouts on the cheek, so I smear it all over my cheeks. Skin is looking well, even with the breakouts
