Slendertone Face
Move over Surgical Face Lift, there’s a new kid in town!
Thanks be to the Lord God, we finally have a product tried and tested that actually works! Ever dreamed of a face lift but couldn’t possibly come to terms with actually following through and taking to the knife? Well ladies, we give you the Slendertone face toning unit.
The Slendertone Face tones and builds the facial muscles using EMS (Electro Muscle Stimulation) technology, which in plain English is electrical pulses, designed to mimic natural muscle movement.
As we grow older our faces begin to sag. All the lotions and potions in the world can’t get working as deep as the muscle however, so in steps the surgeon?......no! In steps the Slendertone Face. You control the level of current, so it’s not painful – just a tingling sensation.
Here’s how it works;
Safe, Effective and Hands Free
Slendertone Face delivers a natural face lift from the inside out.
Facial muscles are unique in that they are the only muscle group in the body directly linked to the skin. When these muscles start to waste, they are unable to support the skin so inevitably the face starts to sag and wrinkles appear, advancing the ageing process.
By toning and building these muscles, the skin and face structure is lifted and plumped – smoothing out the surface and reversing the typical signs of facial aging: loss of volume and shape, wrinkles and lines.
Working to retrain the facial muscles of expression, the Slendertone face uses electronic stimulation, which gently activates the muscles isometrically. In this way, the muscle is exercised hundreds of times in each session of just 20 minutes, without unwanted creasing of the skin which could cause wrinkles. The muscle recovers its natural tone, helping to lift and support the face naturally.
Clinical trials were carried out in the National University of Galway taking 97 women between the ages of 35 and 55. They used Slendertone Face for 12 weeks, 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
The trial used photographic evidence, psychometric questionnaires and ultrasound imagery.
The test group showed an average muscle increase of 18.6% over the 12 weeks.
Impressive!
